Service is great. Food is good. Decor is very dated. Restrooms aren't good.
Consistently good. A little $$ but usually never have any of the problems that I encounter at other local fast-food establishment's or restaurants. Fish is not as greasy as Long John Silver's. Have healthy options such as non-breaded fish, vegetables, and water or sweet & unsweetened tea both good. Don't forget other items such as dessert items, Hush Puppies, french fries, coleslaw, chicken tenders and pop/Soda. Good customer service representatives. In 7 years I have only experienced 1 problem with this location and it's wasn't resolved but next to Red Lobster you can't beat this place. They have lobster rolls, lobster bisque & other Lobster items right now usually during late October and November only for a limited time.
We have stopped at this restaurant several times in the last few months. Really quality seafood. They just completed their Lobster extravaganza. Several lobster items were offered.
I have lived around here all my life 49 years and always heard stories about drunks and drug addicts working at Captain D's. Tonight I experienced it firsthand when me and my wife stopped by for some fish and shrimp. Manager cussed me out over the speaker and came outside threatened me all because I said it makes no sense to my wife and apparently he thought I was talking about something he said on the other end of the speaker. He started screaming at me to get the hell out of his Drive thru and go somewhere else. I now believe everything I ever heard about this place and the drinking and drug use while they are working. My wife knows the owners wife and messaged her my number and told her briefly what had happened. I never received a call. I can only imagine they heard a different version of the story from their manager and his sidekick that were nice enough to come out and threaten me in person but quickly retreated inside when I pulled my phone out to video the incident. I did manage to get these pictures of them and from what I have heard about the workers and Hep c and the food as well as the health department I will say this guy done me a favor and I will never be back there again. If you don't mind dealing with complete idiots, drunks and drug addicts and waiting in a drive thru for 20 minutes to get food then be sure to stop by this Nasty place!
The meal was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Captain D's has Long John Silver's beat completely. The customer has a choice, not just fried this and fried that. Grilled meals and low calorie meals. The employees were courteous and polite. We definitely want to visit them again!
